InstaCab, its subsidiaries, employees, interns, contractors, and or partners will NEVER contact you outside of our company’s in app support features, pages or links. At no point will we contact you by email, text or by phone after your initial application onboarding & verification procedures.
When we do contact you during the onboarding process, it will be through the InstaCab support features/pages or documents submission pages or links, via live video with an authorized live guide on a monitored and recorded session both from your end and ours. By coming into contact with, or engaging with InstaCab, its subsidiaries or affiliate entities, or links via any form or medium, or by signing up, or registering with InstaCab, you agree and consent to monitored and recorded sessions at all times, regardless of location or jurisdiction.
During the application onboarding process, we will NEVER ask you for money or anything of monetary value to be sent directly to us or to another third party on our behalf.
After your onboarding & verification process has completed, If you receive a call, text or email from any entity claiming to be InstaCab, or any related entity, employee, contractor, intern , or partner, or subsidiary of InstaCab,
1)Record the call and phone number (avoid speaking during an instance of such a call and save the recording once the bad actor is off the call)
2)Take a screenshot, or multiple screenshots of any emails or texts. Make sure to take a screenshot of the email domains, or phone numbers, time stamps and other details that you may receive from the bad actor.
3)Report any emails or texts as scam or phishing to your device or internet service provider, after you have saved your screenshots and recordings.
4)Call 911 using the SOS feature in your InstaCab account settings/menu to make a police report. During your report/call make sure to provide as much detail as possible to authorities regarding the scam or phishing attempt. We recommend and advise that you go in to your nearest police station to make the report and submit the evidence that you recorded including text, screenshots and recordings. (Chances are you received this scam or phishing attempt because you have been targeted. So please take this seriously). After you have submitted evidence, obtain a police report number/ or reference ID from the police station or authorities.
5)After you have obtained a police report number or reference ID, go into your InstaCab application and initiate a support ticket referencing the police report number, and also submitting to us( InstaCab) the exact same evidence you supplied to the authorities. We will call the authorities to verify the evidence, conduct further investigations and take the necessary steps to put your account on alert for your protection. We will initiate this by monitoring your account and putting reverse tracing techniques into effect for any leads on the scam or phishing attack. By using InstaCab, you agree and give us full authorization to employ such techniques on your behalf for your protection.
6)Remember, we will NEVER call you, or contact you via phone, email or text after you initiate your police report ticket in the InstaCab app. All correspondence will be conducted in the InstaCab Support & Onboarding feature in the InstaCab app, which will be monitored 24/7/365. Upon going to the police station/ authorities to make a report, advise them that we will be calling them for further correspondence after you initiate your In app support ticket, and that they shouldn’t call you after you leave the station. We will also advise the authorities not to call you after you have made your report and received a report number.
7)Again, we will never call you via phone, or contact you via text or email after your police report and ticket initiation. The authorities or police won’t either. If you receive a call from 911 after you have made your report and received a report number, or after you have initiated your report support ticket, let us know in the InstaCab app during your police report ticket correspondence for further action which may include device monitoring.
8) IMPORTANT : Prior to onboarding, coming into contact, engaging or registering with InstaCab, via its website, links, or affiliated links, via any medium or form, you may receive promotional texts from friends or family with links to the iOS and Android app stores for app download or to earn prizes & rewards. Please do not respond to or click on any links from phone numbers you don’t recognize or have verified prior to receiving said promotional text. In the unfortunate event that you do receive a promotional text or call from an unrecognized number impersonating InstaCab, its affiliates or related entities of any kind, please repeat the steps laid out for evidence recording and reporting. Again, WE (InstaCab, its affiliates or related entities) will never call you prior to onboarding. In the unfortunate event that you click on a link or respond to a call from an unrecognized number, intentionally or not, on purpose or not, you or any entity on your behalf will be solely liable for all damages of any kind resulting from said action. In all cases, InstaCab, its founder, affiliates, and entities will be held harmless with zero or $0 liability till perpetuity, with no obligation of the appearance in court or correspondence to summons, regardless of location, date, court, and superseding any jury, court or jurisdictions determination. All such cases will also be subject to forensic investigations, which automatically warrants your consent, and grants rights and authority to and for InstaCab, its affiliates and related entities to conduct trace backs, networks, and service provider deep dives utilizing your device and other third party devices or third party by 6 degrees of separation devices.
9)Always protect your account. After your initial onboarding & verification process, InstaCab or any related entity , employee, contractor, intern or partner will not send you any links via text or email, or call you. Do not click on any links via text or email from any individual or entity claiming to be InstaCab or acting on behalf of InstaCab. Do not engage in any phone conversations with any individual or entity claiming to working on behalf of InstaCab, any InstaCab affiliate and or partners.
10)InstaCab will go above and beyond to protect you and your account. But in the unfortunate or unlikely event that your account, or phone or device you use to give or take rides in the InstaCab app is compromised, you hold InstaCab harmless in all cases, with InstaCab’s liability remaining zero or $0 till perpetuity. You also forfeit the right to a lawsuit or countersuit, class or single in all cases till perpetuity as provided by the provisions of terms of use, contact and engagement.
11)If it is investigated that you assisted in the compromise of your account knowingly, you’ll be liable to the fullest extent of the ramifications of the violations of our terms of use, contact and engagement.
